Why we built this
Built by people tired of losing margin to someone else's app.
Take Away Systems started from a complaint we kept hearing from restaurant owners directly: delivery apps take a quarter of every order, and there's no way to opt out without losing the order too. So we built the flat-fee alternative — online ordering, payments, and a kitchen app, without handing over a cut of the top line.
Payments run on Stripe. Card processing and PCI compliance are handled by Stripe, not us.
Payouts land in your own bank account. Money never routes through ours.
Cash is a first-class option. Don't want card payments yet? Skip Stripe entirely and add it later.

Do I need special hardware?+
No. Your phone or tablet is enough to run the order board. An optional Bluetooth receipt printer prints kitchen tickets automatically, if you want one.
What if I don't have good food photos?+
AI can generate photorealistic photos for any menu item that doesn't have one yet — no photographer required.
Can I still take cash?+
Yes. Cash and card are supported independently — accept both, or cash only if you'd rather skip connecting a bank account for now.
Can I use my own domain?+
Yes. Point a domain you already own at your ordering page instead of using the shared takeawaysystems.ai address.
What if I want to cancel?+
Cancel from your account settings whenever you want. No retention call, no lock-in period.
